Before her career was cut short due to ill health, she performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra.
Sandra was Principal Soprano at the English National Opera, and also performed at Komischer Oper Berlin. She has performed with such eminent conductors as Kirill Petrenko, Jiri Belohlavek, Mark Elder and Paul Daniel.
Born in South Africa, Sandra studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Sandra teaches privately both in person and on Zoom, as well as at the London College of Music. She adjudicates singing competitions and has given masterclasses in London and Dubai.
Her work as a singing teacher is based on her experience as an opera and concert singer, and her keen interest in the mechanics of healthy, beautiful singing. The vocal exercises she uses are highly effective in developing and improving technique and resolving vocal problems.
Her training and ongoing development as a Mentor Coach provide her with the skills to help pupils develop resilience and the confidence to handle challenge in the work/study environment.

The consultation provides an opportunity for both parties to assess the teacher/student dynamic and will help determine if the teacher is right for them. The teacher can also assess if he/she can help the student personally or whether another more suitable teacher should be recommended for that particular student.
